Lottery Award for Noah's Ark Playground

Lottery Award for Noah's Ark Playground

In 2015 Noah’s Ark won a lottery award of £6,160 to make our playground bigger and more exciting. It used to be a lot smaller and now has 25 square metres more space for playing.

Mums and Dads got together to transform the playground and some nearby scrap land into a fabulous wildlife garden. An alphabet theme meant the children can learn as they play.

Birdfeeders were put up to attract wildlife.

Thank you to the lottery players for making our dream come true.

Half term break

Half term break

We’ve had a great start to the new year at Noahs Ark, the first half term has gone by in a flash. Although the weather has been very cold, the children have still enjoyed going out for walks. One highlight was building a snowman. Despite the snow being a bit thin on the ground, the children had tremendous fun building Mr Grumpy!
Everyone can now enjoy a well deserved break before returning for the last week of February. There are two trips to look forward to later in the term – Woolley Firs and Braywick Wildlife Centre, as well as an Easter party. The children will also have fun visiting the orchard and taking in the local wildlife, a favourite for us all!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year from all at Noahs Ark! The children have returned after the Christmas holidays full of energy for the new year ahead. As always lots of fun things planned for the term, with Valentines Day and Pancake Day to add a touch of excitement. As spring approaches the children will enjoy getting out and about on walks, let’s hope for some nice weather!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from Noahs Ark! The children have enjoyed a week of fun and excitement to close the term. My personal highlight was the much loved nativity play, which was a magnificent performance again this year. They ended on a high with a party yesterday, and a visit from the man himself – Father Christmas!!

The Autumn term is always busy because it is the lead up to christmas. We have lots planned for the children, including a trip to Woolley Firs Environmental Education Centre and two Christmas theatre trips – we will be visiting Norden Farm and Windsor Theatre this year.

We would like to say a big welcome to the new children and their parents, I’m sure they will settle in and become part of the Noah’s Ark family in no time!

Summer term

Noah’s Ark welcomes everyone back after the Easter break with a fun packed summer term ahead. The children can look forward to lots of exciting activities including Sports Day, Strawberry Picking, Farm Walks, Visits to the Orchard, a Bear Hunt and a Day at the Beach!
